Repair and Installation of Basketball Rings
March 2017
Basketball is the most common sport everyone plays in the barangay. May it be young or old, we love to play basketball. Playing this sport not only gives us leisure but also physical fitness. We burn a lot of calories. This game also enhances our sense of teamwork, camaraderie, and sportsmanship. This 3 values are essential as we grow. Renovation of the basketball rings gives everyone the opportunity to have fun.
Task Force Youth Development

The youth is the future of our country. They need to be involved in the barangay for them to be trained to be great leaders of the country. The Task Force Youth Development aims to form the youth into strong, responsible, and productive citizens. The youth of today are easily tempted into bad behaviors like gambling, smoking, use of drugs, and many more. Thus there is a need for their development. Punong Barangay Midelo Ocampo calls regularly for a meeting and all are free to come to him in need.
Junior Basketball League

It’s summer break and there is no class. The youth are free to have their leisure time. In line with the Feast Day of Sr. San Isidro Labrador Chapel situated in Sitio Pamongbongan of this barangay. The committee held a junior basketball league. All 12 years old below male were welcomed to join the said league. This league happens every Saturday and Sunday in the afternoon. It aims to strengthen their bonding and friendship with each other and be able to practice sportsmanship
Nutrition Month

Every July, the Philippines celebrates Nutrition Month. Each school has culminating activities highlighting the importance of good nutrition. The Pamongbongan Day Care Center situated near the Barangay Hall, conducted their culminating activities in the covered court of Milibili. The council showed their support.
Symposium on Proper Waste Disposal in MNHS

The Children are the future of our country. Climate Change is now upon all of us and we need to protect our only home. One way to protect it is by proper waste disposal. This symposium aims to teach the youth on how to properly dispose solid waste and its effects on the planet. In coordination with the Milibili National High School, this symposium was made possible.

Extra-curricular activities enhances the social aspect of the lives of the students. With these kind of activities, the students can learn through experience. There is a saying “Experience is the best teacher”. This is the reason why there are extra-curricular activities. The Barangay always show their support to the schools every activity. Brgy. Captain Midelo Ocampo was the guest speaker and the BPAT were deployed to assists in the security.

LAGING HANDA! This is the motto of the scouts. The Barangay and the Don Manuel Arnaldo Memorial School together with other schools conducted a camp. The theme of the camp was “Growth and Stability No to Drugs, YES to Scouting! YES to Scouting! NO TO DRUGS!” this activity aimed to educate the scouts to deny the temptations of drugs that could ruin the lives of these young children. This activity also gives them lessons in being prepared in life whatever phenomenon occurs.
Adopt a Street Project

The Milibili National High School YES-O club coordinated with the barangay for a project. This project aims to help the environment and the beautification of the barangay by cleaning the sidewalks from MNHS all the way to the Barangay Hall.

The Alternative Learning System helps a lot of students. It is a program that aims to accelerate students with a higher age for their level. This Literacy Day signifies the goal of being a literate citizen of these students. Not only have they given learnings but also to be able to socialize. The Barangay Council showed their support by letting them use for their activity the covered court.
Seminar Workshop on Stewardship
October 8, 2017
Education is not only at school but also in the community. This workshop aims to train the youth to be stewards and prepare to be trainers and leaders. This seminar was organized by the Encabo Family. With the cooperation of the Barangay, this camp for the youth was made possible. 2 trainers came from Cebu to facilitate the said activity. The committed hoped that this kind of activity to form better leaders in the future.
