Philippines belongs to the tropical side of the world. It means we are prone to different sudden changes in weather and also for tropical cyclones which may bring intense rain that will cause floods and landslides. Not only that, but even in sunny weather we can experience disasters like earthquakes. For these reasons, the BHWs together with the BPAT and barangay officials should be ready to respond to the people who need help during or after these disasters happen. This orientation is one proof that our public servants are trained to be ready. Just like the Barangay Captain’s slogan “Dapat May Plano” in whatever will happen.
